Dept. of Clear Thinking

“Now that the scientists have acknowledged what we have known for over a decade, that the biggest contributor to global warming is animals, everyone must act quickly and seriously reduce, or even better eliminate, meat and dairy from their diets. With all the excellent faux meats and cheeses and the variety of alternative milks, there really is no excuse to continue to ruin our planet. . ."

Of course what you never hear about is the global warming caused by all the hot air released into the atmosphere by "scientists," Nobel laureates, "experts," and their adoring followers, particularly those wishing to sell us more vegan.

I especially like "excellent faux meat"--it makes me want to sing: Sometimes you feel like a nutburger, sometimes you don'T. . ."

See what happens to your brain when you stop eating real red meat? Your mind turns mushy and you become a fuzzy thinking poor emaciated creature. And I suppose we should get rid of vineyards too. Me? I like my meat and I like my red wine.

Dear me. The point isn't entirely problematic, although a production like 'PlanEat' (http://www.intoxicatingprose.com/search?q=planeat) offers a little more hope...

I look forward to seeing the movie. Certainly, "The End of the Line" (brilliant book and movie) is provocative and should make everyone think hard about endangered fish. I just am leery of people who promote "faux" anything, as it usually translates to "ersatz," which is different from real alternatives.
